Oversee the Design output to ensure that client and regulatory requirements are met.
Provide design directions and ensure that design quality, design safety and design directives are followed.
Collaborates with the client, contractors and consultants as and where necessary.
Know the project requirement and intervene and modify it when necessary.
Responsible for final specifications, purchase ordered materials and overall guidance on the whole project.
Supervise and evaluate work of production manufacturing.
Presents designs to clients, contractors and management and makes revisions as necessary.
Responsible for generating and updating drawings, Bom List in line with customer requirements and applicable legal and other requirements.
Ensure timely submission of drawings for review and approval.
Maintain and update the drawing master list for each project.
Lead, guide and ensure personnel concerned are adhering to areas of design standards, concepts and use of materials.
Liaise with potential customers on design aspects and details as and where necessary.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.
