Design Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities: * The individual for this new position will perform new product development activities. * Effectively utilize 3-D and 2-D computer-aided design systems and analysis tools. Responsibilities: The individual for this new position will perform new product development activities. Effectively utilize 3-D and 2-D computer-aided design systems and analysis tools. Responsible for assisting with coordinating, designing and completing of project design programs, including material selection, parts setup, and general engineering specifications. Provide new technical product design and functional support expertise to sales and marketing teams as well as customers. Perform other project related activities including conducting product quality tests to evaluate new/existing product performance. Requirements: Tertiary education in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Familiar with SolidWorks software. Structural, mechanical and electro-hydraulic design experience is an advantage. Valid Class 3 driving licence is required for this role.
