About the Roles

The Design Manager (Facade / Building Envelope) role is based in Redhill and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30AM to 6PM. This is a permanent position offering a competitive package that includes a basic salary,

What You'll Be Doing

Manage and oversee project budgets to ensure costs remain on track. Drive the entire project lifecycle from award to completion, including preparing final accounts. Create procurement schedules and lists that align with architectural plans and project timelines. Source quotations, liaise with subcontractors, review submissions, and prepare subcontract agreements. Track and document defects and maintain organized records for all variation orders, submitting VO costs regularly. Work with the Project Manager on monthly progress claims and closing of final accounts. Review subcontractor VO claims and verify that all variations follow required protocols. Monitor payment certificates for subcontractors and issue client payment advice promptly. Handle progress claims, payments, variation orders, and project closure tasks. Take on additional duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

A Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. At least two years of hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Capability to operate independently with minimal supervision and solid knowledge of local standards and requirements.
