Design Manager ($5000 $6000/aws/vb)

Job Description
$6K+ AWS + VB + allowance5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hoursLocation: WestResponsibilities
- Lead the works in accordance with site specific HSEQ Construction Methodologies, Risk Assessments, Site Rules and Policies and Procedures.
- Understand and manage clients requirements and their obligations in the development of a building design.
- Liaising positively & actively with clients, consultants & authorities using his/her technical expertise to adopt / accept / approve the technical proposal for the projects.
- Ensure the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice.
- Ensure the design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales.
- Strive to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.
- Preparing detailed investigation report for any incidents related to technical issue.
- Review with the Business Development team on project closing reports and develop future improvement plans / strategies to reduce risk(s).
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and above or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a geotechnical design role in the construction industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
