Our client is one of the leading Civil & Building contractors in Singapore.  They have a number of current large-scale groundbreaking projects with tenders in place for some of Singapore’s most prestigious upcoming projects.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Main Accountabilities
 
·       Reporting to the PD/PM, you will be a key member of the design team for their current large-scale metro project.
·       Provide critical direction to the design development and coordination on this major TBM project from inception to completion.
·       Design development and relevant authority approvals.
·       Planning and interfacing with other major stakeholders
·       Resource management
·       Technical advice and solutions in the design of temporary & permanent works, construction & sequencing issues.
·       Daily and weekly internal meetings
·       Leading and driving project design as it affects safety and quality

PRE-REQUISITES:
 
·       Degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering or any related discipline
·       MINIMUM of 8 years of experience in civil & structural construction and with design experience
·       Must have a background in Tunneling projects
·       CIVIL DESIGN EXPERIENCE
·       Expert with TBM Tunnel Civil Design experience
·       Practical understanding with on-site experience
·       With knowledge in Designing tunnels, Modeling soil-structure interaction, precast segment design, Cross-passage design.
·       Substantial Experience in Design & Design Management, Construction Management & Team building / leading
·       Excellent project skills, good communication & interpersonal skills
·       Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
