Tanglin is a not-for-profit international day school in One-North, Singapore, offering an outstanding education for expatriate students. The school educates boys and girls aged 3-18 years across the sections: Infant, Junior, Senior and Sixth form, all based on one campus. Established in 1925 the school has grown steadily to become an 8 form entry school. It offers the English National Curriculum from Nursery and Early Years right through to iGCSE and offers a dual pathway where students can take either A-level or IBDP. The facilities are second to none within 5 hectares of a rural setting. The Role: The successful candidate will teach Design and Technology and to contribute to pastoral care and CCA programme. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a DT department within a well-established, outstanding school. The successful candidate will be a teacher with commitment, integrity and excellent communication skills and a teacher with flexibility, resilience and a caring approach towards students. The role reports to the Head of Design and Technology (Senior School). The successful candidate will have either IB Diploma or A Level experience and will be a strong team-player with experience of collaborative planning and assessment at all levels. Technology integration via iPads, Surface devices and OneNote is a key area, and classroom practice throughout the school is heavily influenced by the use of Technology and these devices. Location overview: Singapore is very safe, clean and friendly (ideal for expats), a place where everyone speaks English, and close to other countries so it\'s inexpensive and easy to travel elsewhere. Requirements:

• Qualified teacher with a B.Ed, degree + PGCE or equivalent, with QTS
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Outstanding practitioners from either a state or independent school background
• Knowledge of UK curriculum preferred but not essential
• Dedication to co-curricular activities
• An interest in developing your own learning through academic research and reading
• Extraordinary candidates, willing to go the extra mile and use their initiative

• Excellent salary dependent on experience, \xc2\xa34,500 - \xc2\xa35,500 per month
