Job Description

Functional Overview:

In charge of developing and conceptualizing interior spaces for new builds and refresh projects to meet the needs and preferences of clients and management. Closely works with internal departments and external partners in analysing clients' needs, creating plans and specifications, and making sure that a project is finished in accordance with the timeline and budget

Duties and Responsibilities:

Designs interior office spaces, including permanent architectural details and temporary elements Produce perspectives, material boards, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished products using computer-aided design programs (CAD), SKP with Enscape, Revit and hand-drawing skills preferred Selects design strategies and color palettes to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environments Enhances and improves new and existing interior spaces' functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings, artwork, and decor Specify materials and source for furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures Creates material boards and assist in negotiating prices with vendors and contractors On and off-site Project & technical coordination Establish project timelines and coordinates work activity, vendor involvement, and outside contractors as necessary Performs research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds Coordinates with internal departments as necessary to efficiently execute clients' and/or management project and design requirements Ensures compliance with national and local building and safety codes with every design element

Minimum Competencies:

Knows how to read and interpret architectural drawings and CAD Files Knowledge in Office Fit-Out standards (MEPFS, FDAS, etc.) is a plus Amenable in doing site visits when necessary Good communication skills and can coordinate effectively Has strong visual awareness and eye for detail Flexible, resourceful, and can work under pressure Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's / College Degree in Interior Design or Equivalent Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience related to interior fit-out projects (Commercial and workspace interior projects) Familiarity in using Design Software (Vray, AutoCad, Sketch Up, Ms Office, etc.)

KPI:

Ability to provide approved interior design renderings and ideas in a timely manner Ensures proper execution of approved design within established project timeline
