Job Description

Position Information The role requires the candidate to analyze, design, develop, unit test and implement complex PLSQL packages, forms and report modules dveeloped for an Insurance Business application..It also requires the indvidual to develop Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Sequence Creation and Handling exceptions, using Oracle Forms/Reports and PL/SQL. Key Reponsibilities

• Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
• Extract business logic, validate requirements, and provide support to the application.
• Fix the bugs and provide timely quality support to the business.
• Perform deployment of code in Linux servers.
• Modify/Change BIH/Filenet Java programs, if necessary.
• Commit the code in the Github repository.
• Merge the code from lower environment to higher environment in the Github repository.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Prepare the implementation plan to be sent to the deployment team.
• Stand-by support during Major and Minor Deployments.
• Must be able to multitask, with an eye for detail.
• Must be able to work within deadlines, ensuring both timely, cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Follow established coding standards and naming conventions.
• Majorly support a Regional Application hosted in APAC, and expected to work in APAC timezone

• 5+ year experience in Oracle Forms/Reports and PLSQL Development.
• At least 3+ years in Java and Unix.
• Should be a Team Player, and able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge / experience of Oracle Forms and Reports 12C, PLSQL, SQL.
• Experience working in tools like Service-Now/Jira/Confluence/Github
• Knowledge in the Agile-SAFe Methodology
• Preference would be for candidates having some experience working on the General Insurance Framework.

• Collaborate with System Architect and Engineering Manager to develop Policy Administration in Allianz Technology
• Preparation for the ITMP transition (liaison with Global Teams)
