The Financing Ecosyste Enterprise Singapore is the government agency championing enterprise development. The agency works with committed companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. The Financing Ecosystem Division drives and supports Enterprise Singapore's efforts to grow Singapore companies by improving their access to financing. We have 3 types of roles available in the division, which span from ecosystem development, policy development and implementation as well as tax advisory. Find out more about each role below. Development Partner/Senior Development Partner - Ecosystem Devt, Scheme Policies, Data/Gap Analysis What the role is The role will involve monitoring, analysing, reviewing and enhancing existing Government financing schemes to ensure their effectiveness in meeting the financing demand of Singapore enterprises, in order to support their growth both domestically and overseas. The role will also involve engagement with financing eco-system domestically and abroad, to identify upcoming trends, innovative solutions and potential partners we could collaborate and anchor to strengthen Singapore's financing ecosystem and fulfilling gaps in market. What you will be working on You will be involved in the research and analysis that focuses on the monitoring and assessment of Singapore enterprises' state of access to financing, through extensive engagement with a wide range of public and private stakeholders. An understanding of Singapore's current financing landscape, knowledge of the success factors of key global financial hubs which Singapore can adopt/adapt is required. You will also be required to review and devise the division's overall strategies to enhance the financing ecosystem in Singapore, including through research and benchmarking of Singapore's financing landscape against other jurisdictions, and identifying emerging trends, business models and tools in the market. What we are looking for Trained in Business, Economics or Finance, you should ideally have at least 34 years of relevant work experiences with the financial industry, such as banking, insurance and investment, especially in areas such as SME financing, Trade Financing, Project Financing and Credit / Risk Assessment. Experiences with Supply Chain Financing, Digital Banks and other emerging financial innovations will be a plus. You should have a strong analytical mind with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applicants will also be evaluated on their experience and interest to contribute to the public sector in an enterprise development role. A strong ability to communicate and engage with both external and internal stakeholders is critical. You must be comfortable with writing up memos, policy papers and developing cohesive presentation slides. 2. Development Partner/Senior Development Partner - Scheme Implementation What you will be working on . Administer Government-backed loans policies (from origination to loss recovery) and track portfolio performance indicators . Manage stakeholders such as financial institutions, and communicate with them regularly on loan policy matters . Monitor financial institutions' operating approach to ensure compliance with scheme policies . Participate in the review of new and existing loan policies . Where required, engage company management to understand business performance, financing requirement and facilitate access to commercial financing solutions or perform due diligence on government-backed loans extended to the companies What we are looking for . Preferably 2 - 4 years of experience in credit evaluation, loan and/or insurance administration, middle office in bank industry. . Good presentation, communications and writing skills . Possess skillsets in data analysis . Able to drive projects independently The Tax Development Department supports Enterprise Singapore's vision by developing and implementing tax policy to support Singapore's companies capability development and international expansion plans, and maintain Singapore's position as the leading trading hub in Asia. 3. Development Partner/Senior Development Partner - Tax What you will be working on: . Reviewing the tax policies and guidelines, taking into account the changing business environment and needs of companies . Monitoring international tax developments . Ensuring that the tax incentives deliver the intended policy outcomes What we are looking for: . Background in Tax, Accountancy or Economics, with 3 to 8 years of experience in tax. A background in tax advisory will be an added advantage . Possess good interpersonal, writing and communication skills . Global mindset, enterprising and a team player . Proactive and able to work independently . Meticulous and resourceful
