You will be involved in the following areas: 1) Export Promotion and Facilitation To develop and implement new export promotion initiatives, with a focus on SMEs. You are expected to work with both internal and external stakeholders within Whole-of-Government, as well as with external partners like Trade Associations and Chambers to meet the export promotion deliverables. You must possess strong project management and facilitation skills. 2) Promote Better Usage of FTAs You will be the OIC responsible for specific FTAs. The specific duties include updating and maintaining the relevant FTA webpages on the Enterprise Singapore corporate website. You will also hold one-to-one company briefing sessions to help companies understand the benefits of FTAs and customise FTA advice to their specific situation and market(s). You will also promote usage of the Tariff Finder tool and will support in the preparation of annual reports on FTA outreach and utilisation. 3) Grant Application Evaluation and Project Assessment You will help to evaluate grant applications and assess projects to ensure eligibility of applicants, robustness of projects, and completeness of applications. You should be trained in Business, Supply Chain, Legal or Technology related disciplines. You should be independent, resourceful and self-motivated. As the role requires close coordination with both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, the ideal candidate must demonstrate strong teamwork. Additionally, you should be able to carry out research and analysis of issues, and have good business acumen. Candidates who are able to communicate and write well, and have prior trade facilitation experience, will have an advantage.
