I\'m eager to connect with skilled developers who have excellent background in payments, cash management, or trading. Presently, I have several openings with two of my clients within the financial industry. Budget is between 12k SGD to 18k SGD per month + competitive bonus (varies based on the seniority of the position).

This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to a pivotal sector of the bank and play a major part in delivering complex transformation programs in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of skilled Java developers to design, develop, and maintain robust payment and cash management systems
• Define the payments technology roadmap to support the business strategies and objectives as part of the payments transformation programme.
• Ensuring highly available and scalable system capabilities to accommodate business growth
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee the complete software development life cycle, spanning from initial requirement analysis and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing post-launch support. This encompasses all tasks related to application software development and support, from the early stages of pre-project initiation and functional specifications through development, implementation, testing, and continuous post go-live assistance.
• Champion best practices in coding standards, code reviews, and software architecture to ensure the development of reliable, scalable, and efficient applications.
• Leading and contributing to cross-team improvement initiatives relating to agile methods, CI/CD tools, people, architecture, project management and governance, including further adoption and improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master\'s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in Java development, with a strong track record of leading and mentoring development teams.
• In-depth understanding of payment and cash management systems, with a solid grasp of related technologies and protocols.
• Proficiency in using development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and a strong commitment to collaborative teamwork.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for creating innovative solutions that drive business success.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing, banking protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor team members.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
