Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a regional Investment Bank with strong footprints and relationship in the Asia region.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Accurately forecast and fund trading activity settling across all nostro bank accounts and custodians.
• Actively manage cash in all currencies and locations in real-time, monitoring forecasted cash positions against actual settlements throughout the day.
• Communicate balances and exposures to the Treasury desk, Front Office, and Operations teams to ensure smooth funding at currency deadlines.
• Keep additional costs such as overdrafts or negative interest to a minimum.
• Assist with processing of PnL relating to Overdraft Interest charges and third-party interest claims / fail charges, ensuring monthly reconciliations are performed across relevant balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor cash reconciliation to minimize outstanding items and investigate and resolve any breaks.
• Provide support in building up funding or operational process flows and contribute to Project work as required.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
• Cross-train and cover other departments/team members across Cross Product Services as and when required.
• Ensure appropriate KRI\'s and KPI\'s are in place.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cash Management.
• Understanding of Derivative, Securities & REPO products.
• Exposure to Smartstream Technology (CMS/TLM), Swift Alliance/STM, Gloss desirable.
• Swift formatting experience, particularly in payment messages such as MT103, MT202, etc.
• Experience in reconciliation and balance substantiation.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
