Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Engineering/ Security Systems Installation
• Position Title: Deployment Engineer/ DevOps & Deployment Engineer
• Working Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9 AM-6 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic + Variable Bonus
• Duration: 1-year contract (Renewable)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute software and infrastructure deployment strategies for multiple clients
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between new systems and existing infrastructure
• Automate and streamline deployment processes for efficiency and consistency
• Monitor, maintain and improve the performance and availability of deployed systems
• Manage and track the deployment of software and infrastructure updates, patches, and security fixes
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and integration issues as they arise
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including deployment processes and procedures
• Handle Desktop Support as needed

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in a Deployment Engineering or similar role
• Strong experience with cloud deployment and infrastructure automation tools (e.g. AWS, Terraform, Ansible)
• Excellent knowledge of software deployment methodologies and tools (e.g. CI/CD pipelines)
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Ruby Experience working with Windows Server systems and Linux Server systems (Ubuntu)
• Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with security systems and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
