As a Digital AI Platform Engineer, you will design, develop, implement and manage new technology platforms as directed by IT Strategy & business priorities. This role covers all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, from planning, analysis, design, build, test and operations. The successful candidate possesses strong technical knowledge required to set-up and configure platforms from scratch, including broad knowledge of IT architecture, cloud and on-prem infrastructure, networking, OS and application expertise. The candidate is expected to have a working knowledge and experience with a variety of technologies in use within Singtel, which may include but is not limited to AWS/Azure/GCP services, Kubernetes/Openshift, Terraform, Docker, Bamboo, RHEL, monitoring toolsets and various network protocols.

The candidate should have a basic understanding of key Gen AI principles including Large Language Models and the evolving code and tools ecosystem to train, deploy and leverage such models.

Make an Impact by:

• Architect, design and build platforms ensuring high performance, solid reliability, low latency and high flexibility.
• Work with leadership teams to evaluate, pilot and install platforms to deliver business value.
• Build tools and drive system improvements to make it easier for customer and app teams to adopt and use the platform.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends and tools, and suggests new technologies and processes to meet business demands.
• Expert in Singtel processes and able to leverage best practices to define and improve existing processes to ensure efficiency.
• Proficient in a wide variety of tools and systems in use at Singtel.
• Proficient in Javascript, Typescript and CICD concepts.
• Provides an interface and escalation route for Operations teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and reduced outages.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• 3 years of experience in a related discipline
• C# .NET or Java or Javascript development experience
• iOS or Android development experience
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Good grasp of industry best practices in enterprise-class platform development
• Experience in building Enterprise platforms in production, serving either internal employees or external customers.
• Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams.
• Communication & stakeholder management skills
• Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues.
• A can-do attitude with a bias for action
