• In accordance with the limitations of the platforms we are targeting, work with the Runtime and Art teams to push engine improvements that enhance our Art processes.
• Create fresh Automation jobs to satisfy our several projects\' diverse and ever-expanding art requirements.
• Create applications or scripts to aid in the creation and tracking of art (integrating with inhouse systems and 3rd party solutions such a Shotgun).
• Develop tools for Houdini, Substance, Maya, and Blender with Python or QT.
• Write independent programs or systems (in C#/WPF, Python/QT, etc.) and include them into our art production pipeline.
• Where possible, develop cutting-edge HDAs to aid in the procedural generation of artwork.

What you will need:

• A relevant degree or prior work experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming business or in a job comparable to or linked to one in the film/VFX sector.
• Ability to write tools within DCC packages or standalone.
• Understanding of using DCC packages for authoring game Art.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
• Comfortable coding in modern IDEs and debugging.
• Strong communication, self-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a schedule and deliver effectively to deadlines.
