Job Description


  • This role sits in the Driven Marketing team and would be reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing Department of SEAO region
  • The job scope includes developing multi-channel strategy and execution across CRM and Digital Media in order to drive business KPIs for Samsung smartphone and consumer electronics category.

  • Leadership (35%)
o Owns regionalisation of our digital marketing strategy for paid and owned channels for the SEAO region, to drive lead and customer acquisition, profitable growth and customer loyalty o Serve as subject matter expert for Digital Media and CRM across markets o Own, articulate and develop presentations/management reporting of business growth opportunities, strategic focus, market performance and action plans o Identify and develop and pilot new marketing initiatives against business opportunity/gaps o Lead, drive and enhance team performance by giving clear direction and strategic support o Advocate and inspire colleagues and leadership on global/regional digital and marketing strategy
  • Digital Marketing & Marketing (30%)
o Define clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and key performance drivers (KPDs) across paid/owned/earned channels to deliver the business results o Drive action plans and partner with markets to meet performance targets (paid and owned channels) o Partner HQ to formulate and execute plans across our markets focused on global project launches and initiatives o Test, learn, scale via regional led projects and develop best practices for the regional o Identify opportunities to iterate on the customer experience. o Monitor competitor activities within the region to inform defensive and offensive strategies.
  • Execution (20%)
o Manage team to meet milestones, deadlines and scheduling for multiple projects in parallel, updating stakeholders with progress and decisions. o Partner, brief and manage our key agencies to ensure productivity and efficiencies to deliver quality outputs o Inspire and motivate team to perform at their best & deliver results
  • Management (15%)
o Leverage analytics tools to monitor key performance metrics to inform decision-making. o Mine existing data to determine quick win opportunities. o Support various administrative, meeting, and reporting needs for the business

He/ she should:
  • Have experience in digital and data-driven marketing across creative, media & technology
  • Implemented large scale regional digital campaigns with demonstrable business impact ; Demonstrated scalable results from test-and-learn processes
  • Be fluent in the integrated marketing communications and the role digital plays in the consumer experience and cross-channel marketing mix
  • Passion to drive top-line growth by mining data, analytics and deep understanding of customer needs and wants and the ability to translate those insights into actionable business ideas
  • Be independent, self-driven individual with highly responsible nature, strong leadership and strategic thinker, with multi-tasking and decision-making abilities.
  • Have outstanding and clear communication skills - be able to think strategically and analytically to understand complex or ambiguous issues and articulate strategic solutions, and recommendations
  • Ability to influence others and champion for projects to benefit both the business unit and the larger organization
  • Ability to determine and take/provide clear direction amidst ambiguity
  • Experienced with C-Suite level reporting and presentation, regional experience preferred
  • Significant proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners.
  • Highly driven with a solution-oriented attitude
  • Nuanced communication skills – listening, scoping, empathy
  • Sense of humor, and defaulting to influencing your team’s and colleague’s attitudes with your own good attitude

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 9-11 years of work-experience exclusively in digital marketing for a Tech/ Electronics/ CPG Marketer / Finance
  • Ability to travel regionally (~25%) and at short notice
