Digital Solutions Consultant (senior/manager)

Job Description

The Digital Solutions Consultant shall be responsible for advocating and evangelising M1's enterprise solution agenda which is centred around sustainability, digitalization and connectivity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for clarifying and articulating industry problem statements, and working closely with sales, presales, product and engineering teams to develop compelling offerings by weaving together M1's core connectivity and ICT offerings, Keppel's industry know-how, and strategic partnerships with technology providers to grow our enterprise business in key verticals and geographical markets.

He or she must have project experience in helping enterprises adopt or implement technologies such as IoT, data analytics, automation, AR/VR and digital twins in industries such as maritime, retail, smart estates, utilities and manufacturing. 5G experience is a bonus.

He/she shall be responsible for:

  • Driving M1's enterprise solution agenda and working closely with sales, product and marketing to generate pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Working with sales and presales teams to identify accounts and sales engagement approach
  • Leading engagements such as customer workshops, presentations, discussions, etc with customers, partners, government agencies, and other industry bodies as part of our digital solutions evangelism
  • Working with industry and domain specialists, both internal and external to M1 and the wider industry ecosystem to develop solutions and commercial offers to meet desired outcomes
  • Articulating and influencing key stakeholders of the benefits of our digital solutions by using consultative tools and frameworks including design thinking, business model canvas, scenario analysis, etc
  • Working with technology specialists and subject matter experts to realise solutions (in its various forms from early-stage Proof of Concept and Minimum Viable Product through to Operational solutions) proposed to customers
  • Working with marketing for demand generation through creation of content and demonstration of industry thought leadership via participation in industry forums and events
  • Supporting in the design, development and execution of our enterprise GTM plans for the various enterprise offerings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, Master's degree will be a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years in IT industry with preferably 5 years in a customer facing consulting role
  • Extensive experience in leading national and international cross-functional projects - preferably with a focus on digital transformation
  • Extensive experience in digital transformation projects and/or advanced data analytics capabilities, e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python is a plus
  • Participated in delivery of large-scale complex IT projects, on a project management or leadership role.
  • Experienced working with customer executive and senior management in understanding customer business requirements and designing solutions
  • Experienced in translating business needs into functional requirements
  • Experienced on sustainability and digital transformation initiatives
  • Self-assured and confident personality with client centric attitude
  • Analytical mind with keenness for problem solving
  • Goal driven and can work independently towards
  • Good communication and presentation skills leveraging digital solutions and tools
