Purpose

Digitalization and Technology is one of the key levers to help the site achieve its business objectives and improving site digital maturity towards a Smart Factory through connectivity, automation and intelligence, operated by a digital workforce.

The Digitalization Engineer supports the site digitalization agenda by implementing technologies in new facilities that fulfills the smart factory capabilities; as well as implementing technologies that improves the digital maturity of existing facility, process and operations.

Key Responsibilities Area

1. Support HBV project implementation - Operational Technology (OT)

• Support the development of design documents (e.g. System Reference Architecture and Landscape Definition Document) for new systems to be installed on OT.
• Lead the execution of installation of new systems on OT, including testing and qualification.

2. Support HBV project implementation - Digitalisation

• Detailed design of Digitalisation System meeting user requirements.
• Lead the execution of installation of new Digitalisation System or extension of existing Digitalisation System for HBV, testing and qualification, invoving users where necessary.

3.Site Digitalisation

• Lead the development of business case with users, leading to identification of the right digital or technology solution with a defined scope for POC, POV or industrailisation, and its corresponding implementation roadmap.
• Plan, execute and monitor progress, verifying the actual POC and POV elements against plan, meeting its goals, budget and timeline
• Lead the execution of Digitalisation System for industralisation or extension of existing Digitalisation System, testing and qualification, invoving users where necessary.
• Provide regular updates to Project Sponsor / Innovation and Digitalisation Manager

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent

4 - 6 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing

Knowledgeable in ISA S99, ISA S95 and ISA S88.

Knowledgeable in industrial computer systems connectivity and communication protocols requirements in the OTN environment

Knowledgeable in Computer System Validation

Experience and knowledgeable in systems integration will be an advantage

Knowledgeable in GMP requirements of Data Management and Control; Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures
