Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems, focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact projects with tangible financial results.

What a Managed Service Director does at Visa:

VCA Managed Services (VMS) is a critical component of our VCA strategy , providing our clients with the execution muscle they require to enhance performance and increase profitability. VMS brings the 'best of Visa' to the clients, playing the role of orchestration layer between client teams and Visa subject matter experts (SMEs). As clients confront increased challenges in their operating environment whilst also facing capacity constraints and capability gaps, VMS helps to drive implementation or delivery of their strategic initiatives, facilitating significant and tangible value creation.

Reporting into the Asia Pacific (AP) Head of Managed Services - VCA, you will lead the end-to-end go to market strategy enablement of VMS all markets in Asia Pacific. This is an exciting opportunity to help define the shape of managed services in the region as we are scaling up the capability. We are looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial minded individual with a track record of executional excellence and great people skills to join the team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the domain expert on VMS engagements, leading & supporting the sales, structuring and deployment of VMS engagements across AP.
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for VMS in AP.
  • Evangelise VMS across the VCA and sales teams in AP, as well as with clients. Ensure all sales teams are well equipped to be able to bring VMS to their clients in a consistent manner and have the right operating model to support these client engagements.
  • Partner with in-market consultants to develop client proposals, and support them in the sales & discovery process with clients. Help teams to structure RFPs and deals to ensure assurance of value creation to both Visa and client
  • Work across hub and in-market teams to define and develop VMS new use-cases and refine existing ones, and develop reusable set-plays that can be leveraged by markets in selling VMS.
  • Be responsible and accountable for the VMS business plan and work closely with the Sales team to achieve the revenue target, while keeping costs within the approved budget.
  • Accelerate our growth with merchants, acquirers and seller enablers across the payment ecosystem. Working closely with the Merchant Sales and Acquiring team, you will identify opportunities to develop and sell new consulting solutions that will grow VMS revenue in this segment.
  • Develop VMS AP people strategy, define cultures and norms to ensure VMS embedded personnel are given all the support they require

Managed Services acts as a true extension of Visa Clients' team bringing together expertise, capabilities, resources, and scale to enhance performance and increase profitability. Managed Services engagements cover a wide variety of client strategic imperatives, from driving profitable lifecycle programmes, to implementation of new capabilities or Visa products, to building new digital customer journeys. VMS not only drives significant partnership value and strengthens Visa's relationships with our clients, but it also enables rapid implementation of key priorities, which drive incremental revenue back to both the client as well as Visa.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What you will need:
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in digital sales/marketing, campaign management & delivery, portfolio optimization, customer lifecycle management, particularly in a payments company, financial institution or fintech capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative fields such as business administration, economics, finance, computer science, engineering. Master's Degree in related fields a plus.
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Strong team leadership skills with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Financial acumen with experience managing a P&L
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to progress multiple priorities concurrently
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Projects you will be a part of:

The nature of projects you will play a key role in vary, this would include helping clients execute against their key business imperatives:
  • Portfolio Optimisation: Manage and execute customer engagement programs to drive acquisition, activation, usage, balance build and retention
  • Product Implementation: Manage the end-to-end process of designing and launching a new product
  • Risk Management: Execute Auth./Fraud optimization, implement VCA recommendations on Fraud Risk engagements
  • Digital Enablement: Enhance consumer's digital experience, evolve products and/or improve processes by upgrading infrastructure or building a new architecture
  • Data Science Excellence: Transform client into a data-driven organization by setting up or modernizing data assets
  • Operational Excellence: Manage, on behalf of the client, an operational process, to boost client's performance and enhance consumer experience
