Director, Business Planning & Analysis

The candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of the Group financial results and performance against targets/strategies of the Group. Analyse financial, non-financial information and present recommendations to support management decision-making. In addition, act as a Finance Business Partner and advisor to the Group Corporate Functions.

• Group Business Planning and Analysis:

o Involve in the strategic business planning and analysis, and management reporting to stakeholders.
o Assist in long-term business planning and capital deployment for the Group.
o Participate in the Group annual budget and forecast planning through close engagement with key stakeholders to establish plans aligned with the Group targets and strategic objectives.
o Provide commercial insights and present analysis findings to facilitate management decision-making.
o Prepare the Group financials presentation materials for management and AC/Board, and other ad hoc reports and analysis for management.
o Partner the Regional Finance team on the consolidation of the Group regional associates’ financial results and other ad hoc analysis.
o Provide leadership to the finance team, recommend process improvements and drive new initiatives.

• Group Corporate Functions Business Partnering:

o Be an active finance business partner and advisor to the Group Corporate Functions.
o Engage and partner the Group Corporate Functions on the annual budget and forecast to support robust planning and performance management.
o Provide value-added analysis and ensure compliance with the Group financial governance policies.

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A Degree in Accounting or its equivalent. At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance including prior leadership role in finance.
• Relevant experience in audit firms and knowledge of current accounting standards would be an advantage.
• Adept at synthesising information, sharp eye for details and strong numeracy skills.
• Able to work independently in a challenging environment. Should possess strong commercial acumen and a collaborative attitude.
• Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
