Singaporean Director cum Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
to lead the Singapore operations of Lulu Money (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a leading name in the remittance and fintech sector.
The CEO will act as the key local representative of the organization, accountable for driving business strategy, ensuring full compliance with all Singaporean regulatory requirements (particularly those governed by
MAS
), and spearheading digital innovation in financial services. The role requires strong domain expertise in
remittance services, digital payments, and fintech.
The CEO will oversee business performance, digital transformation, risk governance, stakeholder engagement, and long-term growth, ensuring local initiatives align seamlessly with the global strategic vision.
2. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a long-term vision and strategic plan for Lulu Money Singapore aligned with global corporate objectives.
Possess working knowledge and experience in
MAS licensing processes
, especially
Account Issuance Services
and
Digital Payment Token (DPT) licensing
.
Translate strategic vision into clear, measurable goals and KPIs for the leadership team and business units.
Digital Transformation & Fintech Strategy
Lead innovation and the integration of emerging technologies into remittance and cross-border payment services.
Oversee the development and deployment of secure, customer-centric digital platforms to ensure competitive fintech offerings.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with
MAS regulations
and maintain robust internal controls and governance structures.
Oversee regulatory reporting, internal/external audits, and uphold transparency and corporate governance best practices.
Mitigate operational and financial risks through proactive controls and compliance frameworks.
Financial Management
Lead P&L management to ensure sustainable profitability and cost-efficiency.
Formulate, manage, and monitor the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning process.
Market Expansion & Business Development
Identify and explore new business opportunities, including new markets, strategic partnerships, and innovative products.
Maintain strong relationships with regulators, banks, fintech associations, and strategic partners to expand the organization's influence and reach.
People Leadership
Build and sustain a high-performing, compliance-focused, and innovation-driven team culture.
Mentor and develop the local leadership team to ensure strong internal capabilities and succession planning.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA) is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience
, including
at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
within the
banking, fintech, or remittance sectors
.
Demonstrated experience leading a regulated financial institution in Singapore, with a solid understanding of
MAS regulatory frameworks
.
Proven track record of delivering digital transformation and managing organizational growth in a competitive financial landscape.
