The Role Responsibilities
This role leads Bank-wide change and transformation programme communications efforts, specifically to:
  • Develop, drive and deliver coherent communications strategy to support the successful implementation of high-value transformation programmes throughout the change lifecycle, specifically for Bank-wide transformation initiatives, Transformation, Technology and Operations (TTO) transformation programmes and programmes managed by the Global Transformation Office.
  • Work closely with the transformation programme teams to clearly and effectively communicate programme objectives and outcome, and engage colleagues on the change journey
  • Apply a consistent methodology for change management communications, supported by data; also anticipate and address potential issues in communications planning and execution
  • Partner with business and function leaders and program leads to drive alignment and seek buy-in from key internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that our Group MT, TTO MT and Senior Leaders are kept abreast of developments regularly and in a timely manner
  • Drive and develop content for campaigns and messages that is compelling, engaging and aligned to our strategic priorities
  • Effectively engage our colleagues, taking into account the people side of change, ensuring there is coherence and consistency across the programmes
  • Monitor transformation progress, report on milestones/successes and enable feedback to facilitate employee engagement and buy in
  • Build and lead a communications network of partners and subject matter experts to develop and determine effective communications approaches and develop two-way communications for real-time feedback
  • Embody and promote agile ways of working, driving continuous improvement in our communications approach
  • Explore and experiment with new channels and approaches to deliver compelling and impactful communications
  • Implement measurable targets to assess the success of communications in building supporting the change programmes
  • Drive data-first decision-making and planning in our change management communications approach
  • Work with CABM Region/Market networks to ensure the communications programmes are created and executed in-step with ongoing \xe2\x80\x98BAU\xe2\x80\x99 communications activities/strategy. Streamline operations whenever possible
  • Identify, flag and advise on managing any negative reaction or concern about the relevant projects

Our Ideal Candidate Experience
  • 12+ year\xe2\x80\x99s relevant experience in managing/driving communications in support of large-scale, complex transformation initiatives would be preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong writing and speaking skills.
  • Strong team player who is confident and able to interact well with colleagues across various teams/levels etc.
Skills/knowledge
  • Good visual communications and presentation skills; Well-versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; video-editing/graphic-design skills are a nice-to-have.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate with the highest integrity and discretion
  • Ability to think on his/her feet and respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure environment
  • Good sense of stakeholder-management, planning and organisation skills
Qualifications
  • At least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a communication or business-related discipline.
