Coda\'s Director, Channel Partnerships is one of the most critical roles in the organization. As part of the leadership team, this leader will not only be charged with ensuring the acquisition and sustained growth of our most critical relationships with payment channels and ecommerce partner but will also be responsible for building a high-functioning team centered around a culture of execution and relationship management excellence where each team member can flourish and reach their highest professional potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy and execution of a strong pipeline of payment channels & e-commerce partners to scale the business globally
  • Enable a global team of business development & account managers who are responsible for identifying, structuring, negotiating, and growing partnerships (including co-marketing activities) with payment channels and partners.
  • Lead sales pitches and presentations to key external decision-makers and prospects.
  • Establish and build relationships with clients, industry leaders and key strategic partners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market trends, strategies and technologies to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally within the business to resolve bottlenecks and bring partnerships to fruition
  • Participate in product roadmap build-out discussions based on client needs with functional lead, product, and engineering.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 to 12 years\' experience in business development leadership roles; direct working knowledge/experience in the payment channels space is required
  • A strong track record of leading teams to high effectiveness, with a keen ability for managing both high-performing and underperforming talent
  • Savvy deal-maker with a strong business acumen with a strong understanding of fintech/payments space.
  • Competent and experienced in business development, marketing, regulatory and legal aspects, product development and finance
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of local tax and regulation effective payments will be helpful
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
