The Role Responsibilities
The role holder is to enable the enterprise agile transformation journey for the Consumer, Private and Business Banking ("CPBB") division of the Bank by ensuring the adoption of Agile ways of working in the defined client journeys. The role holder is expected to support and enable the CPBB businesses in developing, driving and aligning an integrated business and technology strategy to transition into agile.

Strategy

  • Develop, lead and solution for CPBB Tooling outcomes, enable the solution meeting the CPBB transformation agenda with the utilisation of Data Engineering, Advanced Analytics, Alteryx, UI/UX Design and Tableau capabilities
  • Analyse complex data to identify patterns, defect anomalies in data using statistical tools as well as machine learning algorithms if required.
  • Liaise with Data owners to understand the data structure and source the required data in the right format and Drive projects with minimal guidance. Provide thought leadership by researching best practices and conducting experiments.
  • Perform impact analysis on any change in data or database due to migration or upgrade and ensure seamless feed to the downstream tools.
Business
  • Engage business stakeholder to understand the key data points required for the schema modelling.
  • Identification of the source database and data owners for various tools that capture data.
  • Provide end to end BI Solution, automation, and self-serve capabilities for faster and informed data decisions.
  • Prepare and/or contribute to regular updates for various committees and governance forums.
  • Provide insights to senior management and the network based on MIS and analytics.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
  • Work closely with Business, COO, and Technology to implement the transition of CPBB to customer journey-based approach.
  • Act as "Agile Transformation Champion on behalf of CPBB COO, engage and 'Agilise' our internal and external delivery partners.
  • Drive transformation to enable teams by increasing the adoption of Agile practices across the CPBB Operations function, leading to a reduction in waste and shortened implementation time frames.
Processes
  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches and tables).
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
  • Ensure data preparation with Excel knowledge with (Pivot/Macros).
People & Talent
  • Champion and act as a role model of the Group's values and culture in the region.
  • Be the champion in mindset, building a culture of client centricity, agility, and accountability through standardised metrics and measurement, ensuring everyone in Operations are drivers and owners of client outcomes.
Risk Management
  • Highlight any perceived risks and early alerts to the management based on data analytics.
Governance
  • Encourage the habit of continuous improvement in the various teams as end-to-end client journeys are redesigned.
  • Implement the Group-defined common platform/architecture for gathering, communicating and reporting, e.g., process mapping tools. Identify high-impact low-maturity processes, capability gaps, and re-align these to client journeys.
  • Assist with the research of internal and external best practices and makes recommendations for process.
  • Accountable for satisfactory closure of issues / gaps arising from Internal Audits, peer reviews and regulatory reviews for the areas of work.
  • Adherence to confidentiality agreement always.
  • Adherence to Group Policy and Code of conduct always.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years of experience in Banking and/or Financial services
  • Extensive hands-on experience in working in a Agile environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and work experience in Transformation and Project Management.
  • Action oriented and comfortable managing a complex stakeholder network.
  • Proven track record to deliver a fundamental transformation in the ways of working of multiple teams along the lines of the Agile methodology, across countries and within a large multi-national bank.
  • Robust experience Human Centered Design, Agile and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including leading the design and implementation of such frameworks and methodologies in a large, multi-national organisation.
  • Action oriented and comfortable managing a complex stakeholder network within a matrix structure
  • Effective communicating and engaging colleagues from the C-suite to the shop floor, with a proven ability to lead across countries, embracing diversity and bridging cultural barriers.
  • Good Comunication skills
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Fraud monitoring or similar operational transactional based review activity.
  • Good Communication skills (writing/Speaking).
  • Technical know-how.
  • Excel (knowledge of Macros/Pivot) is an advantage.
