You will join our APAC Management team

As our new Director of Strategy & Commercial Excellence you will be part of driving the

cross-Market strategic planning and execution in collaboration with the Regional Director

and the Asia Pacific Leadership Team.

You will be part of the Global Strategy community and organise market and internal

analysis and plan and facilitate development, discussion and follow up of strategic

components as Asia Pacific grows. This includes dialogues on where we need to add to

talent pool and capabilities in APAC to address market demand and opportunities with

APAC LT and HR. Part of your role will also be to develop strategic rationale and

pipeline for acquisitions and to drive these through decisions gates - valuation, due

diligence, and deal - and to own subsequent post-merger integration. This will be done

in close collaboration with Group Strategy and M&A.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

1. Regional strategic analysis, planning and execution.

  • Market analysis in terms of trends, opportunities, and peers.
  • Organising and facilitating strategy execution follow-up sessions with APAC LT to continuously adapt strategic road map and priorities to market conditions.
  • Manage the strategy program for APAC, which includes follow-up and reporting at leadership meetings.
  • Consolidate inputs from Markets to build and maintain acquisition rationale and pipeline.
  • Ensure progress in dialogue with key leaders regionally and globally.
2. Strategy, clients/sales, Comms/Marketing and Sustainability leadership.
  • Lead the direction of the teams across Client & Sales, Comms & Marketing and Sustainability to ensure collaboration and a coherent approach to how we position ourselves and engage our clients both tactically and strategically.
  • Ensure clear plans for functions in APAC business enablement and follow up on them to ensure effective implementation and impact.
  • Ownership of the regional KAM plan and key stakeholders\' relations to achieve business objectives.
3. Operational leadership and review support.
  • Drive/produce materials for the Quarterly Management Review, including solicitation from global Markets, Finance and other stakeholders and ensure alignment with Regional Director and COO before meetings.
  • Help review financials and other KPIs for Monthly Business Reviews with special focus on business enablement and operational initiatives.

  • MSc or BSc degree within a scientific/technical/engineering field, social science, humanities, or scientific field.
  • At least 10 years of work experience in leadership/commercial related fields with good industry insights.
  • Significant experience with strategy development and implementation.
  • Good analytical skills and understanding of how to do data driven decision making.
  • Proven ability to understand various disciplines across the AEC industry.
  • International and culturally awareness.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • High work ethics and sense of quality.
  • Significant experience in operating in Asia Pacific or parts of.
  • Good understanding of how to develop business enablement teams and processes.
  • Understanding and preferably prior experience in M&A and post-merger integration.
  • Strong change management capabilities.
  • Passionate about leading people - experience in leading both leaders and staff.
  • Experience of working in Asia-Pacific would be an advantage but not essential.
