About Markets Barclays Investment Bank\'s Markets teams serves their institutional investor clients by helping them to understand developments in global markets and offering execution and risk management across every major asset class in every region. About Macro
The Macro business was established in 2014, bringing together the firm\xe2\x80\x99s FX, Rates, Commodities, eFICC and Local Markets offering. Barclays is a top 5 global FX firm and has been a pioneer in educating global investors about the concept of FX as an asset class. We provided a consistent, high quality and uniform client experience with respect to content, pricing, liquidity and reliability. Overall purpose of role G10 STIR Trader
Key Accountabilities

• Market-making of G10 FX Forwards on voice and E channel sub 2yrs with focus in AUD and NZD.
• Market-making of uncleared AUD derivatives and cross currency basis up to 30yrs.
• Risk-manage books in prudent manner including taking into account returns on capital.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

• Build/maintain client franchise as a market leader, working closely with Distribution and Research
• Present trade ideas and engage with clients on a regular basis and visit key global and regional clients periodically
• Engage with partners in IT to enhance the pricing and risk management infrastructure to improve trade productivity and reduce operational risk.

Decision-making and Problem Solving

• Manage the risk from residual positions by working closely with infra partners and making sure all thresholds/limits for the desk are met.

Risk and Control Objective Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in FX Forward & Rates market-making

• Familiarity with AUD & NZD Rates & FX markets

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record of revenue generation

• Strong analytical, communication and adaptive skill set
