What the role is:Company Overview: The Energy Market Authority (\xe2\x80\x9cEMA\xe2\x80\x9d) will be centralising the procurement of natural gas under a new gas company (\xe2\x80\x9cGasco\xe2\x80\x9d) to enhance the security, reliability as well as price competitiveness and stability of natural gas supply for the Singapore power sector in the energy transition to net zero. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director (HR & Corporate Services) for the Gasco. Position Overview: As a part of the core startup team, the Director (HR & Corporate Services)will play a critical role in building organisation structure, developing and implementing strategic plans in areas of Human Resource , Corporate Communications and Information Technology (IT), in accordance with the companies mission and vision statements. Reporting to the Chief Corporate Officer, the Director (HR & Corporate Services) will play a central role in managing the administration function of the company, coordinating office processes and procedures to ensure organisational and operational effectiveness and efficiency.What you will be working on:

• Facilities Management: Oversee office facilities, including lease negotiations, renovations, maintenance, and security. \xe2\x80\xa2 IT and Systems: Manage IT team to ensure robust IT infrastructure, cybersecurity measures, and efficient systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 HR: Lead in HR strategies needed to attract, develop, engage and retain employees to build high performance teams. Establish HR systems and policies needed to deliver these strategies to be a Employers of Choice. \xe2\x80\xa2 Corporate Communications: Develop and implement corporate communication strategies to enhance the company\'s public image and conduct outreach to stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Executive Support: Provide support to executives and leadership team on strategic initiatives, special projects, and operational needs.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 10-15 years of experience in Human Resource and Corporate Services, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment with exposure to corporate services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven track record in managing multiple corporate functions such as HR, IT, Corporate Communications and administrative services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast paced environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strategic thinker with a proactive and problem-solving attitude. \xe2\x80\xa2 Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively across departments.
