JOB DESCRIPTIONThe IT Business Partner is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between business segment and the IT department. This role involves understanding the business needs and objectives of the segment and collaborating with the IT department to develop and implement technology solutions that support these goals.1. Serve as the main point of contact for the business segment, understanding their business processes, needs, and challenges.2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of the business segment.3. Work closely with the IT department to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure the timely and successful delivery of technology solutions.4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to effectively manage and deliver technology projects.5. Provide guidance and support to business users on the effective use of existing technology platforms and tools.6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of technology solutions, identifying areas for improvement and recommending enhancements or upgrades as needed.7. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in business segment to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.8. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the security, availability, and integrity of fund management and investment systems and data.9. Assist in the development and execution of training programs to enhance the technology skills and knowledge of business users.10. Participate in regular meetings and presentations to provide updates on technology projects and initiatives to senior management.8. Responsible for end-to-end Service Strategic Management\xe2\x96\xba Recommend new strategy decisions (e.g., overall services\xe2\x80\x99 goals, digital transformation plans, etc.)\xe2\x96\xba Provide inputs/reviews on IT strategy, svc. portfolio demand & finance mgmt. for platform specific apps, supported by Keppel IT\xe2\x96\xba Lead the strategizing of BP-managed innovations and the overall management of platform\xe2\x80\x99s customer relationships\xe2\x96\xba Approve newly identified service requirements arising from business/ platform needs & goals\xe2\x96\xba Drive service design activities while providing platform specific insights\xe2\x96\xba Agree on platform specific services listed in the service catalogue\xe2\x96\xba Provide platform specific inputs for designing of the svc. catalogue, svcs. for continuity and ITSCM training & testing\xe2\x96\xba Oversee management of Platform\xe2\x80\x99s capacity and performance needs\xe2\x96\xba Provide platform specific information (inputs & review) during implementation of Enterprise & Platform specific apps. for a few L3 processes\xe2\x96\xba Provide business inputs for specific applications and major incident handling, largely supported by CoE and SSC\xe2\x96\xba Ensure service failures (incidents) are communicated to affected users within the Platforms\xe2\x96\xba Assess and authorize the Business Continuity Plan (BCP)\xe2\x96\xba Participate in research and analysis to recommend new services / solutions post-evaluation\xe2\x96\xba Agree on the service review scope for processes relevant to the platform\xe2\x96\xba Provide platform specific inputs for scope of service review\xe2\x96\xba Govern and oversee IT compliance for all Platform-specific technology initiativesJOB REQUIREMENTSRequirements:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.\xc2\xb7 Proven experience in a similar role in a Multinational Corporation.\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external vendors.\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\xc2\xb7 Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in fund management and investment technology.\xc2\xb7 Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and meeting deadlines.\xc2\xb7 Overall, the IT Business Partner plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the business and the IT department, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support the business needs and objectives of these teams.BUSINESS SEGMENTCorporatePLATFORMOperating Division
