Job Description

Our client is well known community hospital with long standing history in Singapore.The Director of Medical Services is a vital leadership role within the organization. As an integral member of the leadership team, you will help oversee & manage the delivery of high-quality medical care to patients, ensure the highest standard of medical services are provided while adhering to all relevant regulations & policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the medical services department, in alignment with the hospital\'s overall vision and objectives.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team to set goals and objectives for the department, while continuously evaluating and adjusting strategies to ensure optimal patient care.
• Lead and manage a team of medical professionals, including physicians and resident doctors; liaise with external visiting specialists.
• Spearhead quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
• Regularly assess and evaluate medical services through audits, data analysis, and patient feedback, implementing necessary improvements and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing, pharmacy, and administration, to ensure seamless operations and interdisciplinary coordination.

Requirements:

• MD/MBBS degree holder from an accredited institution, with a valid medical license
• Additional certification in Family Medicine and/or Geriatric Care will be advantageous
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a leadership role within a hospital or healthcare organization
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on quality improvement and patient-centered care
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Native/Fluent in English and an additional language
• Applicants should have prior working experience in Singapore within a hospital or healthcare organization
