Director, Office Of Academic Informatics
Job Description
Shape the future of healthcare by leading SingHealth's Office of Academic Informatics. In this strategic leadership role, you will provide Information Technology (IT) direction to our Research and Education (R&E) domains, steering a team that delivers solutions aligned with SingHealth's Digitalisation Strategy, Ministry of Health directives and Synapxe Health IT plans.
This role involves developing an in-depth understanding of technology needs and requirements across R&E domains, translating these into long-term IT strategy, and collaborating with key stakeholders, such as Synapxe, to design and develop an IT roadmap that supports organisational objectives.
You will also oversee support services provided by Synapxe and third-party vendors, ensuring uninterrupted operations and effective delivery of IT solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent, with at least 15 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of research and education domains in the healthcare landscape would be advantageous
- Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills; capable of leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation, demonstrating effective teamwork
