Yara aims to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is leading the development of sustainable agriculture and digital tools to contribute to solving global agricultural challenges. We have a worldwide presence with sales teams in ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees.

Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit - now Digital Ag Solutions (DAS) - 4 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, DAS has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Owns the strategic direction for the digital products in the portfolio and is responsible for setting the long-term vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals
• Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
• Consumes and creates insights across the whole product portfolio in their domain. Demonstrates the ability to use data for Product management decisions
• Play an active role in commercialization of existing products / enhancements; prioritize portfolio, feature and service development jointly with Growth & Commercialization team.
• Ability to manage Senior stakeholders and position self as a trusted advisor in influencing decisions.
• Lead, motivate and inspire a large (75-100 member), multi-disciplinary product organization consisting of Product Owners, Designers, Engineers and Scrum Masters.

Profile

• At least two leadership roles (

5 years) leading multiple digital product development teams covering full product life cycle. * Prior experience orchestrating deliverables across multiple product/ platform teams by charting dependencies and ensuring delivery to targets

• Comprehensive understand of Engineering, UX design and data disciplines.
• Using effective partnerships across with people at all levels in the organization, communicating proactively, and incorporating other viewpoints in the approach to the work.
• Ability to manage a globally distributed team consisting of internal resources and external partners.
• Good knowledge of Design Thinking/Agile/Scrum process and principles
• Interest in the low LSM users, agriculture and mobile technologies impact space. Experience in Supply Chain/Ecommerce domains would be a plus.
