Team Summary
At the heart of Visa’s strategy is looking for new avenues of driving growth at a pace that ensures market leadership and achievement of our business objectives. We have amended our organizational design to align with the key pillars of our strategy more closely by setting up the New Payment Flows team. This team is responsible for managing payment flows/solutions across three segments: business solutions (Visa Business Solutions), government/public sector undertakings (Visa Government Solutions) and global money movement (Visa Direct). This Visa Business Solutions (VBS) team consists of highly self-motivated and driven individuals who are passionate about developing a world class business. They excel with partners and work collaboratively with other Visa colleagues to help their client teams capture the new B2B opportunity in the most effective manner for their markets. Our clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments. We work closely with Financial Institutions, Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. This team also partners with other corporate functions within Visa to benefit from the full suite of expertise that the business requires, such as Marketing, Legal, Finance, Technology, Risk, People, Operations, Client Services and Communications VBS has been experiencing tremendous, double-digit growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core card solutions for B2B payments. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as we expand to bring existing and new payment solutions and associated services to our clients around the globe. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world. Our focus within Business Solutions is to identify needs, assess opportunities and options and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution. What a Product Solutioning Director does at Visa: As a natural collaborator, you will develop a network of key cross functional stakeholders across the region including various product teams, sales, client support and work directly with clients and implementation partners to expand the usage of Visa’s Business Solutions Capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver key solutions that will help accelerate our business and meet our clients needs
  • Drive the end to end deployment of solutions with our key partners and clients across AP
  • Support pre-sales activities while helping to shape engagements. This includes and not limited to the following:
    • Assess customer business process needs and identify applicable functional capabilities required
    • Add various capabilities to achieve success with Market teams in the region
  • Lead the solutioning of key capabilities to capture critical business opportunities
  • Build a deep understanding of product functionality, and roadmap, regulatory and compliance issues, and the technology and operational environment of target customers, including the major operational risk issues to manage any unexpected challenges along the process
  • Drive client decision making through the production of tailored presentations and detailed client analysis
  • Monitor the competitive landscape - traditional, nontraditional and new technologies as well as interaction with new players
  • Stay ahead and prepare for regulatory changes/threats across the region
  • Collect and organize market intelligence and client specific feedback from financial institutions / fintechs and businesses to contribute to the strategic roadmap for prioritization
  • Leverage appropriate Visa assets and resources to provide an exceptional implementation and integration experience for clients
  • Ensure compliance with products, brand, and risk management standards
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What you will need:

We are looking to hire candidates who have already accumulated a variety of experience, you will be curious about the payments industry, results-driven and client-centric. As a candidate you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification/work experience
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Product Management and/or launching new products dealing with technology surrounding Cards / Virtual Cards
  • Bbackground in Virtual Cards Issuance infrastructure, Issuer Processor Technology and processes is preferred. surrounding Card Issuance within Traditional Issuers or Fintechs
  • Skilled in designing solutions that are relevant to the client's needs
  • Attention to detail and organized
  • Committed to execution and making continuous product enhancement
  • Problem solver, good at communication and has an acumen for technology
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills that can effectively engage and influence closing an opportunity with market sales teams as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and create project teams with cross functional teams
  • A proactive and collaborative problem-solver who can work independently with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including senior executives.
  • Willing to travel to the region (10%-20%)
  • Self-motivated and takes the initiative with a strong intellectual curiosity and drive

What will also help:

  • Experience in client engagement in a Product Management capacity either regionally or globally
  • Demonstrated ability to research, understand business process and to propose ideas to deliver solutions
  • Has worked with API’s and has a good understanding of technical concepts
  • Knowledge of systems used in payments, mobile and e-commerce, authentication, 4-party payment model, authorization and clearing process, near field communication (NFC) and tokenization while keeping step with the ever evolving market developments
  • Proven record of accomplishment of success with evidence of supporting high performance teams to deliver transformational change

Hence, this role will enable us to deliver technology change by working closely with our cross-functional teams, to drive the deployment process of key solutions. By effectively managing launch plans and communication, the role holder will own and deliver a plan that addresses critical market demands of payments across small, medium and large organization.
