Description

This is an international wholesale bank with a strategic focus in growing their Asia footprints. Due to expansion, there is now an opportunity for a Regional Head of Business Risk with Global Markets to join them in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group Head of Business Risk, this is a newly created headcount responsible for the management and advisory of business risks across the trading operations of the Global Markets desk. Partnering with the business and trading desks, this 1st line risk role will support to enhance the front to back processes and controls. You will lead initiatives on risk issues, new product or business initiatives, as well as manage regulatory or compliance related advisory with the group function. This is highly visible role where you will be facing regional senior stakeholders and chairing risk committees across the region.

Requirements
You are degree qualified with at least 12-15 years of Business Risk, Operational Risk or COO/Business Management with Governance related experience in Global Markets. Experience in Derivatives, FXMM or trading environment in a COO / 1st line will be advantageous. Strategic, solution oriented and quick-witted. Good appreciation of front to back processes and control issues. You are confident, enjoys stakeholder management and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
