Develop, implement and manage the Global Trade Compliance Program (TCP) as head of Singapore EC team and in collaboration with global EC based in Germany.
Support and advice MDs of RSAsia and RSHQS in any EC related matters on management level
Organize and manage day-to-day export and import operational transactions
Provide strong guidance and structure to all APAC ECOs
Provide supervision and guidance to business units on regulatory changes and compliance matters
Monitor regulatory changes and revise compliance policies and practices in accordance with changing legal framework and business models
Support future roll-out of SAP-GTS and S4/Hana from local and APAC business perspective
Interface with government agencies on licensing and compliance matters (all countries)
Organize and manage audits and investigations
Be the escalation point for export control community within APAC region
Represent Competence Center APAC topics during monthly and annual global trade compliance meetings
Support trade compliance internal audit processes
Provide and support training and education on trade compliance related matters

Your qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, Trade Compliance, Business Administration or other related field
5+ years import / export experience with focus on trade compliance in a multinational company
Comprehensive knowledge of the Singapore Strategic Goods Control Act, European Dual-Use regulations and US re-export regulations (EAR & ITAR)
Experience with SAP ECC functions required and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) knowledge mandatory
Ability to lead a small team, strong team player, working in a global cross-functional organization
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements in simple terms
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required
Customer oriented with a service mentality
Occasional travel in the APAC region and to Corporate (Germany)
