With a focus on innovation and technological advancement, Seagate plays a crucial role in enabling data-driven businesses and digital lifestyles by delivering robust storage solutions that ensure data integrity, accessibility, and scalability.About the role - you will:Seagate Technology is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition for the APAC region to lead and oversee the Talent Acquisition strategy and operations across key markets including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, China, and India. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition, the APAC Director will play a crucial role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent in support of Seagate\'s strategic goals and growth objectives in the region.You will:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
  • Develop and implement the overall Talent Acquisition strategy for APAC aligned with Seagate\'s global talent strategy and business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Talent Acquisition professionals across multiple countries, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with Seagate\'s values and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with APAC HR leadership and business stakeholders and the Global Talent Acquisition leader to understand workforce needs and develop proactive talent pipelines
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment processes, candidate experience, and employer branding efforts across APAC markets.
  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to track key recruitment metrics and provide insights for decision-making and strategy refinement.
  • Strategic Talent Acquisition:
  • Partner with global and regional HR teams to identify and implement best practices in talent acquisition, including employer branding, diversity recruitment, and recruitment technology adoption.
  • Lead executive-level recruitment and strategic hiring initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leadership succession planning.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners including recruitment agencies, universities, industry networks, and professional associations.
  • Represent Seagate Technology in industry forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance the company\'s employer brand and talent acquisition capabilities.

Your experience includes:
  • 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing APAC or regional teams.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies in a global or regional context, preferably within the technology manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
Location:SingaporeShugart:The Shugart site (named after Seagate\'s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
