Join us!:Bank of America has combined the resources and reach of its Global Payment Solutions (GPS) and Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) divisions to provide end-to-end global payment and foreign exchange services to Corporates, Financial Institutions and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. The solutions and services provided encompass the entire spectrum of foreign exchange requirements from the day-to-day operational and transactional needs for vendor payments, payroll etc to longer term strategic risk management solutions for hedging and exposure management.Within the GPS APAC product team, the Transactional FX product manager role is responsible for the delivery of cross-currency solutions to Corporates, Financial Institutions and Non-Bank Financial Institutions and its associated responsible revenue growth targets, managing complex/strategic product(s) and developing strategies across functional groups and/or within the product group. Key responsibilities include managing the full marketing cycle and financial responsibilities for specific product areas and driving innovative idea generation for the products under management. Job expectations may include leading a team to ensure that the product management efforts are integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing.Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the GPS Transactional Foreign Exchange Payments product suite in Asia Pacific, covering Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand including accountability for profit and loss activities, financial analysis to track revenue, profit margins, growth opportunities and to inform decisions relative to client, country or pricing strategy
  • Identifies and creates plans for product development, supporting the creation of sales training programs, and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities including the commercialisation of existing and newly developed foreign exchange payments products and services
  • Understands product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape to provide awareness of trends to sales and marketing teams
  • Develops and/or influences product strategy, driving products in cash management to provide comprehensive solutions across the bank and including execution against global and regional tactical and strategic initiatives and programs
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates
  • Drives transaction and revenue growth and manages associated financial processes (i.e., forecast, monthly flash reporting, etc.)
  • Collaborates with internal technology subject matter experts and researches product-related trends in order to provide an integrated and automated client experience
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to craft responses for complex treasury and cash management deals covering payables, receivables, liquidity, foreign exchange and digital channels for Corporate, Non-Bank Financial Institution and Financial Institution clients
  • Understands risk or regulatory items relative to the GPS FX business either globally or in APAC including but not limited to Self-Identified Audit Issues, relevant market and / or regulatory notifications, global initiatives impacting APAC
  • Supports the management of relationships between key business partners and groups in support of the FX payments business in APAC and globally

Minimum Education Requirement:
  • 4 + years of relevant business and industry work experience
  • Ability to learn quickly, specifically the GPS FX value proposition, core capabilities including end-to-end operational and technology workflows, processes and key business contacts, client buying behaviour by different segments and specific global and regional solutions
  • Experience managing the delivery of services in a matrixed environment with a diverse portfolio of partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones
  • High integrity, energy and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed, detail oriented, organized, and exercises good judgment
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise manner
  • Able to multi-task and work effectively across multiple organizational units
  • A self-starter with ambition and drive and exhibits ability to proactively follow up and get results
