What you will be working on:

You will manage the Finance Division and provide leadership of the full spectrum of Finance function - financial management and control, planning and budgeting, governance and internal controls, and operational executions to drive effective management of SportSG\'s Finance function. This includes prudent management of financial resources and ensuring compliance to relevant legislative requirements and regulations and enabling provision of accurate and real-time financial information premised on self-service delivery model for timely decision-making. In this role, you will, \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive optimal management of financial resources through policy and data analytics. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance for management reporting purposes and to meet statutory obligations and be in compliance with relevant accounting standards and prevailing legislations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide Assurance by enabling effective and robust internal control mechanisms. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting of financials. \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead Finance team to support business units in the decision-making process.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Background in Business or Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Professionally certified as Chartered Accountants; Certified Public Accountants or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 15 years of relevant work experience with proven records which include minimum 5 years of direct supervisory and management of large finance team in Statutory Board or Commercial Organisation \xe2\x80\xa2 Strategic thinker with attention to operational execution capabilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical with strong attention to details; strong problem solving and people management skills. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants\' experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance.
