Job Description

I. General /Primary PurposeThe position is primarily responsible for the design and planning of buildings and structural designs of a project, closely coordinates with the Documentation Engineer, Project Engineer and top management for costing, estimation and forecasting of project budgets, provides drawings and blueprints and other technical documents needed in a project.II. Essential Functions

• Plans, directs, and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings and contract modifications to ensure contract requirements are met;
• Coordinates with the Documentation Engineer, Project Manager and Top Management in preparing, designing and planning of buildings and structural designs.
• Prepares and makes materials estimation and costing based on the approved structural and building design and ensures that all costs are within the approved budget.
• Works closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineers during project implementation or construction to ensure that all approve plans, drawings and estimations are being implemented.
• Ensures that all project designs, drawings and blueprints are in accordance with the approved plans and feasibility studies.
• Involved in the contract negotiation to ensure that all guidelines and phases of the projects are covered and is complied with so as to achieve cost efficiency.
• Conducts Coordination meeting for updates and possible changes on the project plans.
• Ensures that all approved plans and blueprints are in accordance with the Philippine Building Code and other related local and national laws.
• Prepares reports and power point presentations of project designs and blue prints to present with the Top Management, Clients, Suppliers and Government Agencies.

III. Job SpecificationsThe candidate must be/have:

• A Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture;
• Knowledgeable in Cost Estimations, Planning, Scheduling and Design;
• Computer Literate and familiarity with MS Office App, AutoCad, and other software and system related to architectural engineering;
• At least 1 year of experience in the same field.

Job Type: Full-timePay: From Php16,000.00 per monthSchedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tacloban, Leyte: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
