This role will lead the Adaptive Networks Portfolio and will develop and define the integration between Telstra Sales, Telstra Purple and Telstra\xe2\x80\x99s Network Applications and Services (NAS) portfolio, with a focus on supporting our Sales teams to ensure we are capitalising on technology and market changes and leveraging services to differentiate our approach in market.

You will collaborate with key customer accounts, vendor partners, as well as Telstra leadership to drive clarity of product and services specifications, and the development of key go-to-market offerings leading to sales-team enablement and standardised processes.

Representing the Adaptive Network domain pillars of Telstra\xe2\x80\x99s international business, this customer facing role will also have direct involvement in both the existing Adaptive Networks Portfolio, Enterprise Solutions, and the aligned Product & Technology Product Owners.

Key Accountabilities:

Technical Business Development and Accelerating Sales \xe2\x80\x93 working to develop interest with clients, assisting the sales team to differentiate Telstra value with consulting and leading advisory consulting engagements to shape and influence client initiatives.

  • Ability to articulate across a number of core domains, primarily focusing on Adaptive Networks products, services and technologies
  • Assist the sales teams qualify, build and close opportunities leveraging consulting to deliver differentiated value to clients
  • Lead shaping client thinking & direction through technical strategy consulting
  • Contribute to build the pipeline and accelerate sales leveraging consulting and consulting IP for both direct business and pull through business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Telstra Vendor Partners
  • Leverage substantial expertise in technology solutions and sales to manage sales opportunities from identification and qualification to closing, supporting sales teams to develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
Consulting SOW \xe2\x80\x93 with the assistance of the technical consultants deliver to clients Statement of Works engagements directly including leveraging the wider Telstra consulting team and Telstra\xe2\x80\x99s resources.

Business Financials \xe2\x80\x93 ensure all financial elements specific to the customer engagements are understood and maintained.

Innovation and Thought Leadership \xe2\x80\x93 development of client facing consulting materials to communicate the Telstra point of view and perspective on key topics and contribute to the development of reusable IP to maximize the value that Telstra can provide to clients. Leverage this IP to build interest in Telstra Consulting

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have highly developed skills and experience in customer management, enterprise consulting and security solutions, including:
  • Experience in designing/delivery of strategic Adaptive networks and connectivity solutions with an emphasis on Enterprise scale and complexity
  • Extensive and demonstrated experience in Adaptive Network Architecture and Design with the ability to get \xe2\x80\x9cinto the weeds\xe2\x80\x9d and define / align strategic solution outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of emerging network technology and trends such as SASE/SSE, Hybrid edge underlay, 5G
  • Extensive experience in consultative lead selling, critical stakeholder focused and ability to produce client facing artefacts including presentations, strategies and documentation
  • Technical leadership and management of multiple client engagements, defining and understand customer problems, development of strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills, high level of technical expertise and extremely passionate about Adaptive Network topics and technologies
  • Provide senior network domain expertise and guidance for both clients, internal stakeholder and the security team
  • With at least 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in delivering network engagements at scale to large and medium sized enterprise organisations
  • Minimum 10 years of Subject Matter Expertise delivered to clients across multiple technology domains (broad ICT, Networks, Converged Infrastructure, Data Centre, Cloud, Enterprise Mobility, Integrated Service Management and selected Industry Solutions.)
