Your key responsibilities
Product Owner Domain Lead and Lead Product Owner Responsibilities
The Emerging Markets Product Owner Domain Lead (PODL) for Client Journey is responsible in defining and realising the purpose for the respective group of squads in line with the Tribe Domain and Region.
In the PODL capacity in Client Journey, you are responsible to set the agenda and act as an oversight lead for the Emerging Markets squads covering our clients in APAC, Latam and MEA, in both Digital Channels (focused on e-banking platform) and Sales Enablement (focused on core CRM system to service Relationship Managers).
You will be reporting into global Tribe Domain Lead Global Channel and Process and work in partnership with Tribe Lead Digital Channel and Regional Change Lead whilst working closely with business and RMs to drive digital client experience.
The APAC Lead Product Owner (PO) for Digital Channels within Client Journey is responsible for APAC (SG and HK) Digital Channels across Deutsche Wealth Online \xe2\x80\x9cDWO\xe2\x80\x9d, the core e-banking platform offered to clients. You will work closely with the POs for DWO in APAC and the other booking centers
The Lead Product Owner is accountable for maximising the value of features delivered with his/her multidisciplinary Agile team. The features may be purely IT-technical, non-technical or a combination addressing end-to-end requirements including related processes, initiative roll-out and adoption.
The Lead Product Owner is the person with ultimate accountability for designing, building and running digital journeys and its related end-to-end processes that are wide ranging in nature, best-in-class, simple, easy-to-use, and benefit Deutsche Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Wealth Management Emerging Markets digital clients.
As a Lead Product Owner, you are managing together with the other POs the interface to internal and external customers, users and stakeholders, being accountable for the product vision, delivery roadmap, product backlog and the realisation of the agreed product outcomes, meeting relevant quality parameters.
In this combined dual PODL and Lead PO role, it is critical to align scope and priorities to relevant strategic and business goals with clear requirements for customers, users and management/stakeholders alike.
As a servant-leader, you enable your Agile team to work in a self-directed way with team members supported in applying their skills to innovate and deliver the agreed product outcomes.
You are a constant source of guidance and review feedback for their Agile team and stakeholders, you also sign-off work products completed by the Agile team.
Key Responsibilities
In your PODL capacity, you will serve as a key stakeholder with senior management and helping define and drive to delivery initiatives for both Emerging Markets Digital Channels and Sales Enablement.
Responsible for the regional alignment of deliveries for the Tribe Domain across tribes.
Align with regional Product Owners and Global Tribe lead for creating and continuously iterating on a multi-year product roadmap and creating the business requirements.
Help set Regional Priorities / OKRs and Milestones in line with global vision.
Drive People and Talent Management for your region; define Total Performance Indicators (TPIs) for POs and resolve escalations in regions.
Work to support influencing priorities in a global and regional context
In your Lead PO capacity, translate strategic and business requirements and pipeline into a clear implementable digital change roadmap.
Oversee, drive and manage the end-to-end delivery of Client Journey digital change, partnering with various other Agile tribes, and Run the Bank Subject Matter Experts including Business, COO, Divisional Control Office, Operations, Legal and Compliance.
Leveraging Digital technical insights, market trends and customer research to design seamless customer journeys, increasing conversations and transactions.
Work closely with the end-users / internal clients to plan and prioritize in line with expectation and needs.
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value.
Ensure deliveries are high quality, on time and in line with Agile QBR timelines and business needs.
Lead other POs and squad members to develop state-of the art digital solutions.
Act as a leader, instilling confidence to the overall squad and being front-runner and example for the whole team.
Aligning with Scrum Master to communicate progress of the Agile delivery team including status reporting.
Liaising with business and control functions stakeholders to create a go-to-market strategy and on-going adoption strategy to increase usage of digital channels by clients in line with regulatory requirements.
Expected to play an end-to-end delivery role with the ability to closely liaise with the technical implementation team.
Key overall day-to-day tasks include:
- Prepare and provide transparent clear updates on initiatives to various stakeholder both within and outside Agile organisation.
- Development of professional working relationships with various stakeholder groups (Business, Control Functions, External Vendors) across all seniority levels and regions.
- Scope the system / digital solutions / business process: Work closely together with the Journey Experts and Business Analysts and other squad members, to ensure right granularity of requirements specification on an epic / story level.
- Support client acquisition and digital solutions adoption activities based on structured data analysis and KPIs tracking.
- Translate business needs: Create models, diagrams, presentations and other documentations that support the target audience to understand the business requirements.
- Facilitate communication at team level in order to create consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.
- Validate E2E requirements, UAT Testing, Sprint Demos etc (if required).
- Proactively Identify risks / issues that might affect squad\xe2\x80\x99s overall health.
Your skills and experience
Digital native, with 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Digital product management in financial services, investment, wealth management and/or private banking domains, with at least 8years spent as a Product or Channel Owner.
Experience with digital e-banking platforms or similar digital client offerings and have experience rolling out applications in the Client Channel domain.
Strong Agile team leadership experience and technology delivery, and understanding of digital channels technologies with ability to lead a multi-functional team comprising of business and technical resources.
Experience with CRM systems and nice to have experience with Avaloq core banking system.
Individuals must have client experience design, following Design Thinking, Human Centered Design and similar methodologies.
Strong domain experience in Wealth management and/or Private Banking to be able to address customer pain points and drive innovative solutions.
Experience leading large cross functional teams and ability to manage / influence outside direct line of responsibilities.
Awareness and understanding about digital developments and customer expectations from digital banking products and services.
Strong understanding of customer experience design and user experience principles
Understanding the Agile delivery principles and strong knowledge about scrum & Agile lean delivery. Ideally being an official Certified product owner.
Excellent communications and stakeholder management.
Expertise in conceptual modelling; ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions.
Relevant and demonstrable experience in designing and documenting requirements in Agile teams on digital transformation.
Clear ability to provide concise, precise and analytical answers to a wide array of Digital / CRM / Business related topics.
Knowledge of Agile methods (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, ...) and tools (Jira or Confluence).
Understanding of latest client channel technology stacks and technology architecture standards.
Experience in working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situations independently and with limited guidance.
Independent and proactive working method and a high-quality standard.
Flexibility for moving between different requirements on a timely manner.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
