A Doorman with Conrad Hotels and Resorts maintains frequent contact with Guests by welcoming them on arrival, assisting with departures, parking Guests\xe2\x80\x99 cars as required, overseeing delivery and safe keeping of luggage, and providing others services for all Guests.

What will I be doing?

As a Doorman, you will serve on the Guest Services team to meet Guest needs upon arrival and departure and to provide a comfortable stay for Guests by accommodating requests for information and assistance throughout the hotel. A Doorman will complete the following tasks:

• Comply with Company brand standards at all times
• Welcome guests on arrival and assist with their luggage
• Maintain frequent contact with regular Guests and visitors
• Coordinate with valet service to park Guests\xe2\x80\x99 cars on hotel premises, as required/ Self parking of valet cars
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of all hotel vehicles
• Keep up to date on all hotel services as well as VIPs and special events
• Maintain current knowledge on external locations, attractions, and landmarks in the vicinity
• Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
• Supervise and participate in the activities of the driveway and to ensure smooth and orderly traffic flow
• Ensure proper reception during arrival and departure of Guests
• Provide assistance to Guests requiring transport arrangements
• Communicate undesirable activities on hotel premises to Manager on Duty and Security personnel
• Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service

A Doorman serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills and values that follow:

• Previous experience working within the hotel, leisure, and/or retail sector
• Able to handle heavy load of 30kg baggage and/or parcel
• Class 3 License required
• Meticulous personal presentation and strong communication skills
• Strong good communication skills
• Calm, courteous, and discreet demeanour
• A good knowledge of the area and the country in general, preferred
• A passion for working on team as well as autonomously
