Job Description

1. Preparing Survey Drawings

Develop underground pipe and cable laying survey drawings using ArcGIS for submission to the Mapping & Earthworks Administration Section (MEA) of Electricity Operations

2. Data Verification

Review and verify survey data provided by surveyors to ensure accuracy and consistency.

3. Layout Drawings

Create proposed layout drawings that incorporate Google Maps information using AutoCAD, including details for SPPG Cable/Gas.

4. Traffic Control Plans

Design Traffic Control Plans (TCP) drawings in compliance with LTA standards and prepare pre-condition photos using PowerPoint.

5. Gas Transmission Pipeline Drawings

Prepare cross-section drawings of gas transmission pipelines in accordance with SPPG Gas specifications.

6. Drafting Tasks

Execute various drafting tasks as required.

7. Quality Checking

Review all drawings before submission to confirm accuracy and compliance.

8. Submission Monitoring

Maintain an organized system for tracking drawing submissions and their approval statuses to ensure completion within specified deadlines.

9. Trial Hole Report Drawings

Prepare drawings for Trial Hole Reports compliant with LTA standards.

10. PUB Sewer and Water Drawings

Create cross-section drawings for sewer and water systems aligned with PUB standards.

11. Internal Liaison

Collaborate with internal teams, including project coordinators and supervisors, to gather information for drafting purposes.

12. Other Duties

Perform additional tasks assigned by the Manager and Management Team.

Job Requirement

Diploma

in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Proficient in AutoCAD

(2D/3D); knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design software is an advantage. Minimum

1-3 years of drafting experience

in the construction or engineering industry. Good understanding of

construction drawings, building components, and detailing
