Job Description

Reports directly to the Technical Manager and is responsible for producing shop drawings for civil engineering works and successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Create details shop drawings for elements like rebar, road and drainage, ERSS, formwork, and earthworks based on the engineer's design drawing. Generating plans, profiles, and cross-sections. Ensure drawings comply with relevant coded and standards. Maintain drawing records, files, and revisions in an organized manner. Collaborate closely with engineers, project manager and other stakeholders. Prepare adn revise accurate technical drawings based on sketches, notes, or direction from the design team. Assist in simple design detailing when necessary

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management or related field. Professional certifications (Engineering) a plus. 2-3 years of experience in Civil & Structural works. AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software or tools. Knowledge of BIM related execution plans, standards, and coordination processes a plus. Knowledge of regulatory compliance (codes & standards of BCA, SCDF, LTA, PUB and URA requirements), ISO/bizSAFE/GGBS. Good planning skills in managing drafting works and modelling, strong critical thinking skills, and disciplined systems control(documents and data tracking). * Strong communicator, conflict resolution, stakeholder management.
