LIPICO is a Singapore based multi-national company supplying leading edge technologies to the Oils & Fats Industries including Oleo-chemicals and Bio-Diesel sectors. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with right working attitudes to fill in the following position in our Singapore and Malaysia offices. The right candidate/s can expect an attractive remuneration package and challenging work environment. Position: Drafter / Mechanical with process knowledge Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering Team to develop Plot Plan, Equipment Layouts, Foundation drawings, Equipment drawings, Critical piping and ducting routing, P&ID to company established Technical Work Practices.
• Prepare mechanical equipment GAD in accordance to ASME pressure equipment code & practices based on P&IDs, sketches, equipment specifications and drawings, available Company standards and/or guidance from the Engineer or Technical Manager.
• Working with project engineer to develop P&ID, model using AutoCAD P&ID, based on the process sizing & plant standard adopted under the supervision and instructions project Engineer according to the established Technical Work Practices
• Layout mechanical equipment maintaining required spatial clearances utilizing AutoCAD software
• Prepare elevation and sectional views of plant layout for visualization
• Develop process equipment GAD based on established ASME Sec VIII Div 1 pressure equipment directive and standard
• Prepare the detailed fabrication drawings, include dimensions,
• Preparation of process schematics (process flow diagrams) and conceptual drawings to support sales team.
• Maintaining an organized set of up-to-date drawings records and perform file management on a regular basis
• Provide strong support to Engineers ensure timely completion of technical drawings and documentation
• Participate in continual quality improvement of work activities

Requirements: Skills / Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma certificate in mechanical engineering design or drafting is prerequisite.
• Familiar with basic ASME pressure vessels design code, ASTM materials, mechanical design & fabrication, piping standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD- Plant 3D, AutoCAD \xe2\x80\x93PID design software. Knowledge of Vision 360 software will have added advantage
• Good communication skill with engineering and design teams of other disciplines in the project design process
• Drafting capabilities for shop fabrication drawings will be added advantage.
• Possess basic piping & routing knowledge to generate good plant layout
• The ability to be self motivated, work independently, accurately and timely in a schedule-driven environment.
• Team player with good communication skills to work with project engineers and other process designers.
• Three years (3+) experience in related work
