The Draftsperson is responsible for producing shop drawings according to the requirements given in the specifications. A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows: Prepare shop drawings for doors based on specifications, calculations and design intent for client's approval Prepare detailed drawings using computer-aided programs to show elevation, plans, materials, and size Liaise with Joinery site supervisor on changes and update drawings accordingly Maintain drawings according to Company's and Authorities' standards Strict adherence to workplace safety and environmental regulations Value Add of position Strong interpersonal skill to develop a positive relationship with different stakeholders Able to understand good construction practices Qualifications and Education Requirements Education: Degree in Architecture or equivalent from a recognized University Experience: At least 2 years relevant experience TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Able to produce clear drawings Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities, e.g., BCA, FSSD
