Job Description
We are looking for dedicated drum teachers to grow with our team.
J Music is a boutique drum school in Singapore that caters to working adults. If you are obsessed with teaching adult students who have zero knowledge in drums; if you would like to help them to achieve a work-life balance and live a purposeful live after retirement – we are looking for you.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 8 (Trinity or Rockschool) in drums.
- Minimum commitment of one year.
- Bonus if you have minimum Grade 5 ABRSM theory.
- Passion for teaching adults.
- You are tech-savvy.
- You are a good listener, patient and empathetic.
- Able to work on Saturdays.
- Conduct one-to-one and trial drum lessons.
- Prepare students for drum exams conducted by Trinity College London.
- Prepare students for biannual recital performances.
- Update and track students' progress via J Music Student Portal on a daily basis.
- Commission-based
- Entitled to CPF contributions.
- Attend local drum clinics and participate in overseas drum camps, drum shows, workshops and webinars.
- Decide your teaching schedule according to your availability.
