We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our

dynamic geared broking desk

as an

Operations Support Staff

member. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting day-to-day shipping operations, ensuring smooth coordination between brokers, vessel owners, charterers, and other stakeholders.

Job Scope

Coordinate with brokers, counterparties, vessel owners, and charterers on all operational matters related to ships and cargo.
Review and verify recaps and charter party agreements.
Accurately input and update voyage data sheets.
Record and monitor all declarations, ensuring timely follow-up.
Notify clients of declaration details prior to expiration.
Track vessel itineraries to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Obtain, verify, and follow up on loading, discharge, and proceeding orders.
Monitor and log load port documentation promptly.
Ensure timely issuance of Letters of Indemnity (LOIs).
Review freight and hire invoices, ensure timely issuance, and follow up on payments.
Advise clients on applicable claims time-bar clauses as per charter party terms.
Coordinate with the accounts team for commission invoice processing.
Finalize and close voyage data sheets accurately.
Identify operational issues and provide effective solutions for clients, vessels, and cargoes.
Assist the chartering team as required.
Perform additional or ad hoc duties to support business needs.
