We are a large format prints, renovation, and events/exhibitions production company looking for a committed and talented DTP/graphics designer to join our team immediately. Area: Ubi Working hour: We are a large format prints, renovation, and events/exhibitions production company looking for a committed and talented DTP/graphics designer to join our team immediately. Area: Ubi Working hour: 5.5days (9am-6pm/9am-1pm). : 1. Create designs as required by clients. 2. Check and edit artwork where required. 3. Check and prepare artwork files for printing/production. 4. Quality checks to ensure that printing is completed properly and on time. 5. Manage the entire process from preparing the final artwork according to the stipulated timeline. 6. Oversees jobs from start through to prep-print / fabrication. 7. Liaise with sales personnel and clients to fulfill client's needs and expectations. 8. Strong knowledge and experience of large format printing, plotting, cutting, and related processes, including working with Eco-Solvent printers, lamination machines, and plotters. 9. Knows and does perform finishing duties as needed, including folding, pasting, cutting, laminating, plotting, binding, packing, etc 10. Maintain and operate Eco-solvent printers and order supplies when required. 11. Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends Qualifications 12. Must be knowledgeable of the material used for printing and able to source material for orders. 13. Able to manage day-to-day ad hoc design requests. Job Requirements: . 3-5 years or more of working experience in the graphic design & print industry. . Possess a positive attitude, cheerful, and good interpersonal skills. . Willing to work OT, if required. Able to work under less supervision and independently. . Able to communicate effectively and work together in a small but cohesive team. . Experience with Mac system. . Advanced knowledge of design conventions along with skills in MS Word, Visio, PPT, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, MailChimp, Canva, Blue Jeans, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Zoom, Website, YouTube, and other tools and software. . Passion for print media. Ability to give attention to detail and aesthetics to ensure consistent quality in printed pieces. . Proficiency in English is a must. Other languages will be added on as our graphics work requires proofreading of other languages at times. . Experience working in printing firms with hands-on production.
