Job Description

DxD Hub is a NRF funded national platform for diagnostics development. We have a dual purpose of supporting diagnostics innovation and productisation as well as growing Singapore?s MedTech ecosystem.

The Deputy Director of Corporate Planning and Services is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of DxD Hub as a national platform by partnering with functional partners on delivery of corporate services. The leader will also be involved with developing and articulating DxD Hub?s strategic plans and ensuring its alignment with Singapore national plans and other ecosystem efforts.

Major Responsibilites:
Develop and align strategies to economic and national agenda (e.g. DxD Hub 2.0 in RIE2025 strategy), including strengthening linkages with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. MOH, clinical clusters in setting up satellite programmes)

2. Translate overarching DxD Hub?s strategies into an action plan, coordinating across public sector and internal stakeholders and entities to achieve Enterprise?s desired outcomes

3. Set, monitor and report performance and tracking indicators for DxD Hub in alignment with Enterprise and its operating units and in partnership with finance for financial targets

4. Establish and maintain corporate branding and public awareness of DxD Hub.

5. Perform Divisional reporting and communications functions with stakeholders within A*STAR, governing and advisory boards, as well as other public agencies in the ecosystem

6. Review internal operational processes for possible improvements, in alignment with Innovation and Enterprise division and A*STAR best practices.

7. Build capabilities of service platforms & drive realization of business outcomes.

8. Hires, motivates, develops, and retains key talent.

9. Develop and deliver accurate reports of operational metrics to the COO and CEO. Deliver monthly operation reports

Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in scientific or engineering background in life sciences, biomedical engineering. A masters or Ph.D. degree would be desirable.
8 years experience in corporate planning or strategy functions
Demonstrated ability to work with functional partners (e.g. finance, HR, legal, procurement, facilities) to achieve business outcomes
Exceptional written communication skills with ability to articulate strategic vision persuasively and concisely in long-form or powerpoint
Financially savvy with ability to work with financial partners to understand linkage between strategic plans and financial statements
Experience working with Singapore innovation and healthcare stakeholders, including public healthcare institutions and universities is a plus
