Roles & Responsibilities :

• Participate actively in EHSS activities (E.g. H&S Training, Concern Reporting, Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) Review, correction of EHS hazards and unsafe conditions).
• Hands on experience in Electrical & Instrument
• Good electrical & instrument knowledge and strong preventive maintenance knowledge
• Support Electrical and or Mechanical Team in repair work when necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping in work area and ensure compliance of site safety regulations to prevent accidents.
• Ensure compliance of company EHS & Security policies & local EHS Legislations.
• Keep track of spare part and inventory usage to maintain spare part / inventory control.
• Involve in improvement projects implementation.
• Troubleshooting & repair, redesign and improve the equipment for better capability and performance.
• Perform scheduled periodic maintenance on equipment.
• Work closely with and support the production team.
• Execute Reliability Index Tasks.
• Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis and ensure action follow-up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns.

• Min. NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or Technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years’ relevant hands-on maintenance experience in chemical, preferably Plastic Industry.
• Able to perform 8 hrs rotating shift work including weekends and public holidays
• Good knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic and other control systems and understanding in operations of Plant Facility system and equipment (eg. PLC , SCADA , Air Compressor, Air dryer, Cooling Tower, Dust Collector and Central Vacuum System, centrifugal pump)
• Demonstrate good trouble shooting and analytical skills Independently with minimum assistance.
• Dismantle equipment for repair and service.
• Assemble/install equipment after repair and service.
• Good communication skills.
